GUIDING PRINCIPLE: Groove Stylz is an event of the Groove Unlimited Dance Community dedicated to hip-hop dancers and choreographers who have the passion for creativity and endless exploration to stage performance. This event serves as a tool for everyone to grow; and to inspire others not only on dance but on how much we could do together with our God-given talents.
Groove Unlimited Dance Community was formed to create an avenue for communication and to keep a constant inter-action between dancers and choreographers; a belief considered to be an important ingredient in establishing good relationships where the results are not only beneficial to the dancers having crews but as well as individuals aspiring to learn and experience.
G.U.D. Community is not merely a group or a network of people having a common interest, rather it is a vision— a community who is passionate, who shares, who cares, who inspires and who appreciates.
Groove Stylz 8 "Beyond Dance" is the 5th Anniversary Dance Concert of GUDC which promotes the love and care for the environment through awareness and active participation in activities to which relates. This is the third event which will follow the two previous Groove Stylz which campaigned for the same cause (Groove Stylz 6 "Melting Point" & Groove Stylz 7 "Hot Spot")
Groove Stylz is NOT A COMPETITION but a day to celebrate friendship and love for music & life for all who believes in GUDC. Everyone in this event is a part of growing community whose heart is never limited to their own crews or teams, but extends to everyone and anything around.
On behalf of the Groove Unlimited Dance Community, I am inviting you to join us in this very special day. We will share with you a vision and a dream that we believe is not limited to dancing.

Groove Unlimited Dance Community is an assembly of dancers, dance crews and friends sharing the passion for dancing. it is a very huge circle of friends that is dedicated in promoting good and healthy relationships through activities that will help develop each other’s potential and the love for dance as an art-form.
G.U.D. community is as well a socially active group since it is not only geared towards the advancement of dance and the growth of the dance community in the area. Its concerns reach far beyond the dance community by being proactive and involved with issues affecting the entire society. It supports and promotes peace in Mindanao through its “One Groove, One Mindanao” campaign; environmental protection and preservation through its “I Love to Dance” campaign; and reaching out to our unfortunate brothers and sisters on the streets through its “Steps” campaign.
The community’s advocacies have always been significant elements in its events and activities with its dedication, truthfulness and sincerity to its commitment on helping raise awareness and concern to the general population and not just within the dance community.
More than a group, G.U.D Community is vision:

Being a struggling self-supporting group, it has through the years survived and grown to a level far beyond expectations.
Groove Unlimited Dance Community was envisioned by Bryan Grandeza and Christopher Nellas in 2005 and officially launched in 2006 with the Groove Unlimited as its first core support-group. Currently it has members and supporters reaching far more than a thousand from Davao City and other surrounding areas.

Being a part of the community doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be a part of any of those groups (you don't even need to know how to dance) There are other individuals and groups (not necessarily dance groups) that support the goals and activities of this community. We consider them a part of this cause.
Groove Stylz is the Groove Unlimited Dance Community’s flagship event. It is a showcase of the best talents and works the community has to offer. It has, through the years set a standard in the area and earned recognition not only within Davao City, but slowly all-over the Philippines as well.
